Privacy Notice

1. Who is responsible

Adrian Farrugia, based in Malta, operates OddCall and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For questions or requests about your information, contact oddballleague001@gmail.com.

2. Information used by the game

Account information includes email, display name and a Firebase account identifier. Google sign-in supplies identity information. Firebase Authentication handles email/password sign-in; passwords are not stored in the game's player-profile records.

Gameplay records include predictions, saved scoring odds, results, points, league membership and player statistics. The website also records acceptance of the Terms, confirmation that you are 18 or over and your separate marketing choice. Age confirmation is not an identity or age-verification check.

Android notifications use device registration information, push tokens and category preferences. Communication logs help prevent duplicate messages and investigate delivery faults. Support correspondence and technical or security logs may also contain personal information.

If you allow optional web analytics, usage information is sent to Google Analytics. Necessary browser storage maintains sign-in, draft predictions and preferences. See Cookies & Storage.

Account and gameplay information is needed to provide the game. Optional marketing and web analytics are not required to play. Scoring is automated to calculate points and rankings; it does not determine credit, employment or similar eligibility.

4. Information visible to others

Player names, league participation, points, rankings and settled statistics appear in leaderboards and highlights. Settled score records are publicly accessible and may include the submitted prediction, final score and points. Private, unsettled predictions are accessible to their owner and authorised administrators.

Account-profile records, including email and consent choices, are accessible to the account owner and authorised administrators. Other players cannot read or list these private profiles. Call of the Week receives only eligible player IDs and display names from the server. Administrators have wider access to operate and support the service.

5. Providers and recipients

We use Google/Firebase for authentication, hosting, the database, server functions and push delivery. Optional web analytics uses Google Analytics. The website requests fonts from Google Fonts, which receives normal browser-request information. Our support mailbox is hosted by Google, and game emails pass through the service's configured email-delivery provider.

Providers process the information needed to deliver their services. We may disclose relevant information where required by law or necessary to protect accounts and address misuse. We do not sell personal information.

6. International processing

Google and other service providers may process information outside Malta or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. We do not promise that all information stays in Malta or the EU.

Google explains its applicable international-transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified entities, in its data-transfer information. Firebase describes its processing terms in its privacy and security information. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to the services used by OddCall.

7. How long information is kept

Account information is kept while the account exists. Predictions, scores and memberships support current competitions and season or mini-league history. Ending a Matchweek, signing out or uninstalling the app does not automatically remove these records.

Communication logs are used for duplicate protection and delivery investigations. Support and security records are assessed according to whether they are still needed to resolve a request or incident, protect the service or meet a legal obligation. Records currently use manual retention and deletion review rather than automatic scheduled expiry.

If you request deletion, we review linked account and gameplay information. We will explain any information that must be retained, the reason and the applicable period or criteria. See Delete Account.

8. Choices and rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or, where applicable, portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. Change marketing preferences in My Profile; use for web analytics and Android notification settings for push categories.

Send other requests to oddballleague001@gmail.com. We may need to verify account ownership. Requests are handled manually, and we respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If a permitted extension is needed because of complexity or the number of requests, we explain this within the first month.

You may complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta or the relevant authority where you live.

9. Adults and changes

OddCall is intended for people aged 18 or over. Material changes to this notice will carry an updated version and date. Privacy version: 2026-10-07-prod-v1.
